| Choice Books
of Pennsylvania is a regional distributor organization authorized to use
the “Choice Books” trademark and managed by a board of directors. As a
witness to the “good news” of Jesus Christ, Choice Books of Pennsylvania
distributes inspirational and wholesome reading materials appealing to
a wide variety of people in the general marketplace. |
| In 1962, Choice Books began distributing inspirational books under the name “Life-Line Books.” In the late 1960's and early 70's, Choice Books in the Pennsylvania region consisted of three distributor organizations located in the Chambersburg, Franconia, and Lancaster areas. In the mid-1990's these organizations merged under the leadership of Harold Zimmerman to become Choice Books of Pennsylvania. In 1998, Ray Brubaker became the current executive director, and in 2007, Choice Books of Pennsylvania sold approximately 425,000 books from over 700 displays. |
| Choice Books of Pennsylvania purchases books through the Choice Books Central Office and then sells the books to various retail locations with full display service provided. Books that are returned in saleable condition are resold. Books that cannot be resold at full market value are sold at deep discount clearance prices. |
| Choice Books of Pennsylvania selects titles that are consistent with the mission of the organization and titles that attempt to encourage, uplift and impact the life of the reader. |
| Servicing Region
and Office Locations Choice Books of Pennsylvania distributes inspirational books to over 600 retail locations in parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, New York and West Virginia. |
